September 15, 2001 Penn Clarke & Kitty take dinghy out in NY Harbor to film skyline and burning World Trade Center rubble. Gun boat captain orders them back to Liberty Landing Marina. September 16, Penn helps boaters they got to know during the 5-day lockdown cast off from the marina. Within the hour they cast off. A chase boat stops the Mystic Turtle, our 38′ sailboat, but Coast Guard Cutter Juniper gives us permission into NY Harbor.
